Finally, an estimate tool that doesn't make you the scapegoat

ScopeGoat helps your team build structured project estimates, track the financials, and plan capacity. With a little help from the barn.

Join the herd

Meet the herd

Gary Goat

Gary Goat

Takes the blame so your estimates don't have to. That's the whole deal.

Penny Pig

Penny Pig

Counts every penny. Billable, non-billable, the ones you forgot about. All of them.

Roger Rooster

Roger Rooster

Spots over-allocation before it becomes your Monday morning problem.

Sophie Sheep

Sophie Sheep

Follows the Task Library template without question. Every single time.

Dolly Donkey

Dolly Donkey

Stubbornly accurate. Refuses to round up. Refuses to round down. You're welcome.

Dave Duck

Dave Duck

Wings absolutely nothing. Plans everything. Very serious about this.

Harriet Horse

Harriet Horse

Never over-allocated. Extremely proud. Will bring it up unprompted.

Carl Cow

Carl Cow

Keeps the whole herd moving in the same direction. Usually.

Rosie Rabbit

Rosie Rabbit

Fast estimates, zero corners cut. She does not understand why this is unusual.

What's inside

Estimates

Build structured estimates with phases, tasks, and skill assignments. Adjust scope and see the financial impact as you go.

Task Library

Save common task patterns as reusable templates. Import an entire phase into any estimate in one click.

Projections

See how your team's availability stacks up against projected demand, week by week, before it becomes a problem.

Team and roles

Invite your team, assign roles, and control who can view or edit each estimate. Admins manage the workspace.

Fresh from the barn

Saved filters are easier to delete

Fix

The delete button on a saved filter is now always visible instead of hiding until you hover, and asks for a second click before removing it, same as everywhere else in the app.

Saved filters

New

Set your filters, name them, and save as many as you like. Pull up any saved filter from the Saved filters menu. Handy for views you reach for all the time, like your own open estimates.

Filters persist and are smarter

Update

Active filters now survive page refreshes and actions like deleting an estimate. The empty state tells you exactly what period or filters produced no results, so you know what to adjust.

Contact form on the About page now works

Fix

A missing environment variable was silently blocking form submissions in production. Fixed.

Templates and estimates are easier to tell apart

Fix

Opening a template now shows a clear 'Template' badge and the breadcrumb points back to the Templates tab. Tab selection on the Estimates page also no longer resets after you take an action, so you stay where you were.
