You'll see a notice once you're one away from the limit, and a clear message when you hit it. Existing estimates and members keep working. You just can't add a new one until you archive something, remove a member, or upgrade.

No. The demo project that comes with every workspace is free, always, and never counts toward your active estimate limit.

No trial needed. The Free plan works indefinitely, so you can build a real estimate and see how it fits before paying anything.

Yes. Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately, no waiting for a billing cycle.

A workspace admin can go to Billing and hit Manage billing to open Stripe's billing portal and cancel from there. (Only admins see this. If you're not one, ask the admin on your workspace.) You'll keep full access until the end of your current billing period, then the workspace drops to Free automatically. Cancelling doesn't delete anything: if you're over the Free plan's limits, you just can't add anything new until you're back under them. (Separately, a Free workspace that sits completely unused for months may eventually get cleaned up. Paying plans are never touched for inactivity.)

Yes. Exports leave the building and help you win work, so we don't gate them. Free, Studio, and Agency all get full export access.

Studio unlocks unlimited estimates, custom roles, templates, and library import for small teams. Agency adds team availability tracking and the Projection tab for agencies juggling capacity across multiple projects.
